Clients may open an account
with FXCM UK via post, fax
or by visiting our offices
in London’s financial
district. Due to Anti-Money
Laundering regulations put
into place by the Financial
Services Authority, there
are several requirements
that must be met before
an account may be opened.
For your convenience we
have included detailed instructions
to ensure that your application
is processed quickly and
accurately. Please be advised
that FXCM processes all
completed applications within
24 hours of receiving them.

To open an Individual or
Corporate Account, please
complete the Account Application
including the Intermediate
Client Notice and submit
for processing:
1. Submitting
Applications in Person
Clients can visit our office
in order to personally submit
account applications. FXCM
UK is located at 145 Leadenhall
Street, 2nd Floor Rear,
London EC3V 4QT. Please
call +44 20 7398 4050 to
make an appointment with
a customer representative.
Please bring with you a
completed copy of the Account
Application including a
signed copy of the Intermediate
Client Notice.*
Once
your application has been
reviewed you will receive
an email from us with instructions
on how to fund and activate
your account. If you intend
to fund your account using
a personal cheque, you are
welcome to bring it with you
to submit along with your
application.
2. Submitting
Applications by Post
UK Residents:
Please send a completed copy
of the Account Application
including a signed copy of
the Intermediate Client Notice.*
International Clients:
Please send a completed copy
of the Account Application
including a signed copy of
the Intermediate Client Notice
along with an original copy
of a certified government
issued ID such as a driver's
license, ID card or passport
and a proof of address.
Please
note that ID's must
be certified by one of the
following persons: branch
manager at a bank, building
society, certified accountant,
licensed legal practitioner,
other FSA licensed person,
Justice of the Peace, or licensed
notary public. The proof of
address may be either a copy
of a utility bill or a bank
statement listing your current
address.
FXCM
will review your application
and send you an email with
funding instructions within
24 hours of receipt of your
application. To fund immediately
feel free to submit a personal
cheque in the amount of at
least 300 GBP or EURO along
with your application. Please
make sure that the signature
on the check matches the signature
on the application. Note that
FXCM does not accept third
party payments and cheques
must be issued by the individual
opening the account.

4. Joint Account
Applications
UK Residents
please make sure to include
an original copy of a certified
government issued ID and proof
of address for the SECONDARY
signer on the account. (Please
send this ID via post)
International
Residents
please make sure to include
an original copy of a certified
government issued ID and proof
of address for EACH signer
on the account.
5. Corporate Applications
Please include copies of the
following documents with your
account application:

Certification of Incorporation
2.
Articles of Organization that
clearly indicate that signer(s)
are authorized officers of
the corporate entity
3.
A copy of Original Certified
Identification and Proof of
Residence for each signing
member

Applications:
The Financial Services Authority
requires its members to verify
the identity of all applicants.
In order to expedite this
process, the details on your
application will be submitted
to Equifax and/or Experian.
Your credit file will be accessed
using secure online communications,
and will be deleted by the
Credit Reference Agency once
it has finished the verification
procedure. Your credit file
will be used only in relation
to the authentication of your
identity.
Within 24 hours of the receipt
of your application you will
receive an email with an update
on the status of your account.
If we are unable to verify
your identity the email will
include details on how to
complete your application.
