Import/Export Restrictions:
The
import of local and foreign currencies are
free, the export of local currencies is
limited to BMD$250. Export of larger amounts
requires specific permission.

export of foreign currencies are free. Police
and customs officers can seize cash if they
believe it to me the proceeds of criminal
activity.

major airports and most hotels.

most commonly accepted credit cards in Barbados
are American Express, Barclaycard, Carte
Blanche, Diners Club, Eurocard, MasterCard
and Visa, these are all accepted at the
major resorts, however cash is preferred
in most places (either the local currency
or the US Dollar). Check with your credit

acceptability and other services that may
