Average Best Bid Ask

Tenforex Average Best Bid Ask calculations are taking an average price from a range of contributors and restricting the maximum spread. The range of contributors and also the allowed spread is obviously defined per symbol.

The main advantage of this service is that instruments with the extension ABBA are:

• Prices move more smoothly than on Composite
• Greater elimination of spikes than on Composite
• Less inconsistent spreads than on Composite
• ABBA rates can be used by Broadcast API customers as Composite symbols are not available via this particular API.

Because ABBA needs a range of underlying contributors with frequent updates in order to perform its calculations, the service can not be offered for all cross rates. As a result, ABBA symbols are available for following currencies against each other:

• Australian Dollar
• Canadian Dollar
• Euro
• Hong Kong Dollar
• Japan Jen
• Switzerland Franc
• United Kingdom Pound
• United States Dollar
